Dear Grumo Festival participants, welcome to our Ninth Edition. This year we will offer courses and concert tour of Italy: July 15 - July 27, 2017.
Enjoy Italy as Italians do, traveling each day by train, bus, and other public transportation, performing each evening mostly outdoor in small and large towns, in squares, open spaces, churches and other historical buildings, tasting local foods, and with some time to visit each location.
For our Ninth Edition we will be touring across Italy, from North to South, from the Alps, to the Appennines, to fabolous beach resorts, July 15-July 27, 2017. After a residency for lessons, rehearsals, and courses, each morning we will travel to new locations, book into a hotel, agriturismo, or hosting family, have some time for rest or leisure, then rehearse and perform in the evening.
Additionally, last year we presented a two-day concert tour in New York City, in collaboration with the United Pugliesi Federation, March 4-5, 2016.
Thanks to a generous donation from Prof. Lee Copenhaver, we have established the Lee Copenhaver and The Pellegrini Family Scholarship Fund. Our goal is to create scholarships to help students attend the Grumo Festival. To learn more, click here.
